Animating graphics to add to a video

I'm using Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0 and want to animate some graphics to put on top of my video footage. I've tried powerpoint but I can't get a decent powerpoint to aVi converter. What does everyone else use?

For example I'd like to show a small graphic of a car moving from bottom to top on the left hand side.

Thanks,

Ian

Heylo,

I use Adobe After Effects for all my video editing needs. Awesome application, but costly!

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. Not quite as easy to use as powerpoint is it! Can you recommend any good tutorials?

Cheers,

Ian

Ulead Cool 3D Edit Studio: Look here for me

Much easier to use and less costly than After Effects

Havent used it in ages as Avid Liquid 7 and Vegas 6 I currently use have 2D/ 3D clip editors built in but try and give it a go
