Panasonic VDRD 150 DVD RAM Discs

Hiya all a cry for help, we purchased new Panasonic VDRD 150 Video camera and were supplied DVD RAM discs. We made recordings of our first grandchild and can play back recordings on camera OK.
Though when we try to play the disc in our two home DVD players to view on TV neither player will play the disc.
In the manual it talks about initialising discs but not DVD RAM discs.
Can anyone tell where we are going wrong?

Sounds like your players are not Ram compatable as most players arnt.
Worth buying a Panasonic player or DVD Recorder that will replay these discs.

An alternative to spending £170 on a Panasonic DVD Ram if you have a PC , is buy a DVD writer with RAM support . I use two Panasonic's es12 & es20d to record from various sourses . I use the RAM disk's . I bought a RAM DVD for my PC from bigpockets [£32 at the time] so I can transfer the video from disk to PC and also view it.Worth checking out .

And remember not use any more RAM discs with your camcorder to avoid that problem in future....

Alternatively ask the store where you bought it to help you to dub that footage to a normal format DVD if the other routes sounds complicated....
