Which Upgrade?

Hi, I'm in the process of upgrading from ny Canon MN830, but am dithering over what camcorder to go for next.

I need the next cam to be a bit better at filming in low-light conditions and though I been quite happy with what's been achieved, I think I can go better.

I'm convinced I should stay with Canon and am stuck between the Canon MVX3i and the Canon MX2. Absolutely blown away with the claims of what's best on most sites, can anybody throw a bit of light my way please? The MX2 is the top end price I could go to, so I'd apreciate any info regarding this. Thanks in anticipation.
