Problem with belkin USB capture device

Hi
Could someone help me with this problem
i need to capture tv programs using the belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 DVD Creator
when i open windows movie maker and select this it wont let me change the settings to PAL and S-Video it keeps on defaulting to NTSC AND Composite
it used to work but not now have uninstalled the drivers etc but still no luck,
it works fine if i connect a video recorder to it using an svideo cable.
any help would be appreciated
thanks
keith

Hi Keith,

Have you tried using the hardware with the editing software that came with teh unit?? Not sure what you mean by saying that it works by connecting a video recorder to it using S-video?? SO what doesn't work then ??

Cheers
