DV IN/OUT - Terminal (i.LINK)

The DV IN/OUT on my Panasonic NV-DX110 has packed up. What is the cheapest 'kit' I can purchase into which I can place my recorded Mini DV Tape and then export the content into my Apple computer?

A new MiniDV camcorder...

There is no other affordable solution which will play a DV tape (DV tape decks are rare and cost more than a camcorder).

If you use the analogue output from your current camcorder there would be other options, you could use something like this to convert the analogue back to DV
http://www.canopus.com/products/ADVC55/index.php
but obviously keeping it DV all the way is better.

It's likely to be a dodgy connection so it would be worth your while at least getting an estimate for repair from Panasonic (unless you're looking for an excuse to get a new cam )
