Hello and Help! Panasonic NV DS30 Mystery

I have found the AV Forum and it looks as though this is the place to perhaps solve a little mystery.
A friend has used my Panasonic NV DS 30 camcorder, but somehow when recording on LP the playback is in slowmo!!

I have checked all the usual settings but to no avail. I have also tried transferring to Pinnacle Studio 7, but is still at the wrong playback speed.

Any thoughts??
