[Bearded_Malc]

I've just bought one these for my HC90 but I don't think it is working. Am I missing something? I bought it in Amsterdam airport and foolishly didn't open it or try it until I got home (it was a reputable shop after all). Turns out it had no pouch and no leaflet so it was obviously open (and used?) before. Plastic film on the back of the mic has been lifted too.

Anyway I've plugged it in and tried it inside and outside on gun/off/zoom and I can't tell any difference. If anything it seems worse and there is no change on zooming in zoom mode. All the info on it tells me there should be a difference so I think it is broken.
