AV Input with JVC GRD 270?

I recently borrowed a bullet cam from a friend to use for an upcoming track day, but I can't seem to get it to work with my camcorder. I searched a bit on this but nothing specific to my camcorder came up.

Does anyone know if there's a trick to making the A/V input work for an external camera on this camcorder? Or will my camera just not take an input through the A/V jack?
