Hi

I have a canon mvx30I

When i use an external hand held mic the audio ids only coming through one ear on my earphones.

When i use the built in mic it works fine.

I need to interview someone on weds outside, therefore the built in mic will not be sufficient. Any ideas please?

My guess would be that the mic has a mono plug, and your camcorder has a stereo socket.
