Hi Guys,

Not sure if this is the right place to ask......

First of all I need a mini dv camcorder that I can control the zoom remotely, from as much as 60feet away.

I then need to connect the camcorder to my laptop so I can record a live feed from the camcorder onto the DVD writer on the laptop.

Anyone know if it is possible and if it is, what do I need.

I have a reasonably high spec brand new laptop.

The feed from the camcorder will have to travel about 60-70 feet to the laptop, do I need to boost the signal from the camcorder maybe.
