Question Best settings for night shooting with MV650i

I am about to get my MV650i back from the repairer (Black screen CCD problem) and then will be flying off to Disneyworld, Florida again, my main intention is to video the amazing Reflections of Earth fireworks show at Epcot.

I filmed this a few years ago with a Sharp Veiwcam (Analogue) and the quality was very good, but I missed some really good footage, so I intend to film it again with my MV650i on a tripod or monopod but have found that night shots are extremely grainy and very jerky, can anyone suggest the best settings to use so that I can get the best quality.
