frame record

I have been having trouble trying to find a digital camcorder with a frame record function could anyone help with my search

Canon XM2, XL1s (both at 3/4s of full resolution) XL2, XLh1, Panasonic AVX200, JVC HD100/101

Some sonys have progressive scan, but it's not at full motion unless you spend a lot of money (DSR professional range)

XM2 is obviously the 'cheapest' option at £1500, would you buy used, some pansonics (such as the MX300B had it, again at 3/4s resolution)
