Been looking at these two models but cannot decide which to go for.

both cost about the same(due to the cheap price at apple),but the mvx is normally more expensive-so it must be better-right??

i currently have a digital 8 sony and have been very happy with it,just want something a bit smaller.

i prefer the sony brand,and features such as touch screen and data battery.

but the canon appears to be a bargain(looking at other posts)so it is causing me a headache

looking for opinions for or against.

i have tried both in the shop and to my (untrained) eye they are not much different in a brightly lit shop,but what about indoors under normal house lighting,which is when most of my filming is done.

help!!

The next cheapest is Boots online @£299

So I guess your choice is more straight forward now; on another thread some HC19 owners were very impressed with it and its indoor performance. I was considering the HC22 as an option until I seen the MVX200i for £199.

I'm very happy with my MVX200i, for £199 I think it is a real bargain, and has very acceptable indoor performance.
