Guys,

Do you think GS400 is a good buy (second hand-or brand new without receipt) for £450, which i've spotted in one of the forums

Having spent some time trawling through reviews, this looks to be a very good video camera but a 2004 model and perhaps a bit bigger and heavier than its replacement the GS240i. I should need some reassurance as to its condition before purchase.

if it was brand new, then yes definately, no reciept means no warranty, why is there no receipt?

if it is used then proceed with caution, i odubt you'll better the price, but if its sold as seen then you could get stung.
