3 chip or 1 chip

do I need a 3 chip machine, do the mega pixel chips replace that need or can I make do with just the one, I'm making short dance for camera films which I'll be editing on a Mac and then showing at a later date, possibly for broadcast, so do I really have to spend £1500 or can I use the machine I want to get which is a Panasonic NVDs28B

anyone with experience got any ideas because I'm getting a lot of conflicting advice, any favourite cameras for the job

hi the quality of a 3ccd cam is much better than a single ccd. 3ccd will eliminate vertical smears from bulbs and bright objects and the skin colous are much more realistic. In my opinion, go for the 3ccd - if within your buget
