Sony HC22E - Which firewire cable?

Do I need a 4 pin to 4 pin or 4 pin to 6 pin cable for this camcorder?

the camera is 4 pin and the pc is either 4 0r 6 compare the camera connection if its different you pc is 6 pin

A general rule of thumb is:
If the firewire port is on a desktop PC then it will be a 6 pin port
If the firewire port is on a laptop it will be a 4 pin port

The camcorder, as already stated, will always have a 4 pin port. A few firewire cards will have both 4 pin & 6 pin ports on them, but not always.
