Canon MV830i

I'm after a reasonable but cheap dv camcorder with an analogue input for a pen cam. This seems to fit the bill. It's for use on my roadgoing and racing motorcycles so, I need something that I can afford to lose in a crash but, something that also won't fall apart too quickly.

I know there's some comments about the Canons and their reliability in the past - any thoughts now as it's been out for a couple of years. The 830i can now be had for a little over £250 which, seems like a reasonable deal to me.

I'm intending to dump the video onto my pc and create DivX or xVid movies with them.
