Windows Movie Maker 2 (if you're running Windows XP SP2 you'll already have this) lets you rotate video as you want.
** Edit **
I've just noticed you said your digital camera, which, of course, is different from a digital camcorder.
What format does your camera save it's movie files in? Windows Movie Maker accepts the following formats:-
• Video Files: .asf, .avi, .wmv
• Movie Files: .mpeg, .mpg, .mlv, .mp2, .mpa, .mpe
• Audio Files: .wav, .snd., .au, .aif, .aifc, .aiff, .wma, .mp3
• Windows Media Files: .asf, .wm, .wma, .wmv
• Still Image Files: .bmp, .jpg, .jpeg, .jfif, .gif, .dib
If your camera, as a lot of cameras do, saves it's movies as a Quicktime (.mov) file then you'll have to try something else - maybe VirtualDub, I'm not sure. Alternatively, there must be programs which will convert from Quicktime to Windows Video. If so, do this and then use Movie Maker.
