Difference between JVC GR-D290EK and GR-D290AG??

I am about to buy a JVC GR-D290 online.

Amazon have the EK model for £252 but say item will be dispatched in 1-2 weeks which suggests it is not in stock.

PurelyGadgets.co.uk have it in stock for £241 but it is the AG model.

I understand the E-suffix means it is the European market model, but what is the AG? Should I have any worries in buying it, i.e. will the spec be different, any problems with warranty etc?

Any advice appreciated.

I've just bought the JVC, and in 'buying process' I contacted PurelyGadets. They must have got their web site details from a German(?) source. I was told that the products they supply are UK models (EK).

I eventually purchased through Total Digital for £245 delivered next day. Very impressed after DigitalDirect couldn't supply until end of December.

I've only had a little while to play with it, but everything seems great. I've not compared it directly with any of its competitors, but for value it beats them hands down.
