Dust + Grainly LCD Display (Sony Camcorder)

Starting to use my HC22 Sony MiniDV Camcorder a little more now (i.e. I managed to take it out of the box and fully charge it :D) and notice already a few bits of dust (Well, 1 that I can see easily but there may be more) gathering on the front of the lens. Will this affect the image in any way or will the camcorder 'ignore' it? Will it get really bad over time? (Amount of dust that is)

Also I am noticing the video display on the LCD colour screen is horribly 'grainy'/fuzzy. Again, is this normal or something to be concerned about?

fit a skylight filter to the lens, no visual artefacts, protects the lens, cheaply replaced if damaged.

noisy picture sounds like gain kicking in, if its low light then this will happen, the only way around it is to shoot in better light

It wasn't dust at all...Just a spot of light

Where could one buy a filter for the Hc22 camcorder?
