Video Editing Help Please : End Credits

I was wondering, does anyone know how to put end credits on their video ? It would be nothing fancy, something like editable scrolling credits on a black background ? Or if this is not possible, does anyone have any tips or advice on how to replicate that effect ?

I'm using sony vegas for video editing.

This is very easy to do in Vegas (I'm surprised you haven't already found it either within the program or from, dare I say it, reading the manual).

All you have to do is go to the Media Generators tab. On the list that will be shown is Credit Roll. Click on this and you'll be able to chose a variety of styles. Select the one you want and then drag it onto your timeline. A dialog bog should then pop up which will allow you to edit the text.

And that's it! Easy.

your a star melliot, thank-you.

I'm still getting to grips with it, it really does do a lot and half of it i dont really understand to be brutally honest.

Cheers again.

I know what you mean, I'm sure that I still don't use half of the features available to me within the program, but for stabiliy and sheer speed and ease of editing, it's hard to beat.

End Credits

Hi Arcam

I hope this doesn't sound too arty farty but the next time you are 'on location', why not try videoing some natural titles such as signs, banners or such. The old one about drawing a title on the sand at the beach with a stick might also be considered. Audiences can get bored looking at computer generated titles all the time.
