Canon MV700 questions

Just managed to grab one of these on eBay at a bit of a bargain price.

Can someone advise me if this camera has AV in?

According to the spec sheet, it says it has. The reason I'm asking is when I eventually get around to mounting it up on my motorbike, an Aprilia RSV Mille, I'd prefer to use a "bullet cam" on the fairing, rather than mount the actual camera on a support on the tank.

Apparently, according to http://www.bikecameras.com/AV-and-LANC-list.php
, the Canon MV700i has AV in ,but my camera is an MV700 not an MV700i. Is there any huge difference in spec between the two?

The people at bikecameras.com list the 700i as supported for use with a bullet cam, I'm wondering if my 700 is similar in spec compared to a 700i?

Sorry.
'i' means input. no 'i' no input, analogue or otherwise.

Damn.....didn't realise that.

So there's no way I could connect up one of these "bullet cameras" to the MV700?

Nope, sorry.
Without the inputs the only way the cam can record is via it's lens.
