Sony DCR 203E-How the date/time would appear on DVD

My name is Emil.

I am new on this forum and I really need a piece of advice to my problem.
First of all I want to know that I bought some weeks ago a Sony DCR 203E mini DVD Handycam and I am very pleased to have it.
The problem which I was not able to solve it is the following:
- Although I set up the date an time on it, these informations do not appear on my recorded DVD. The date and time appear only on play back mode.
I have transferred the recorded movie into my PC but all the frames are without these information, respectively date and time.
Which are the settings in order that date and time to appear on the recorded DVD ? The instruction manula is not so clear on how we can manage this issue.
Is somebody who can help me ?
