Yes it certainly is, get yourself an editing programme like Ulead VideoStudio 9 details from www.ulead.co.uk .

then

Take the mini disc out of your camera and put it in the DVD tray of your PC - take care to centralise it in the special depression.

open UVS9 at the edit stage and either :-

1. Click on "File" then "Import Media file to timeline" then click on "Insert DVD/DVD-VR" then browse to the VIDEO_TS folder on your Disc - select it and follow instructions and your video will appear in the timeline.

OR

2. RIGHT click in the timeline and from the pop-up which appears choose "Insert DVD/DVD-VR" then browse to the VIDEO_TS folder on your Disc - select it and follow instructions and your video will appear in the timeline.

OR

3. In the very bottom left corner is a little round icon with an opening folder on it - click on it and from the pop-up which appears choose "Insert DVD/DVD-VR" then browse to the VIDEO_TS folder on your Disc - select it and follow instructions and your video will appear in the timeline.

You may have to finalise the disc while still in your camera for this procedure to work correctly.

Once your video is in the timeline you can edit it add titles, add music, add narration etc. then burn your masterpiece to a DVD

Do you mean editing with the DVD still in the camcorder?
If so then the answer is a definate 'NO' if useing a DVD-R, but with a DVD-RW you 'might' be able to do some very basic editing/deleting, depending on the recording mode, but I doubt it. There again I have never owned or used a DVD camcorder, so there could possibly be some editing features on the cam.

Mark.
