Problem Editing clips - Movie Maker

Hello!!

When I delete a section of a 180MB AVI clip in Windows Movie Maker, the clip turns green, and when I play the preview there is sound, but no video.

Either that, or the video in the timeline is all messed up, and when I press play, it plays, but it's impossible to make out what the video is, etc...

I tried breaking the large AVI file into pieces before adding it to the "storyboard/timeline" and when I deleted part of any of the clips, the same thing happened.

With smaller AVI files it would also happen, but after a moment the video would return to normal.

Please contact me if you have any suggestions or ideas why this would happen, or how to solve the problem.

Thank you!

Reedly.
