Stolen Video Camera. What do you think???

Hi all,

Looking for some advice/insight. I had an older sony digital video camera (DCR-TRV230) and it was stolen last year.

I am looking to buy a used one on eBay and am looking for some advice. I am comparing between what I used to have (TRV230) and a couple others including TRV350 and TRV740.

My question is, which should I go after considering they are pretty closely priced for used ones. I am learning a bit about the quality differences and don't mind spending a bit more for something better. I DO want something that does exactly what my TRV230 did, ie, being backwards compatible with older Hi8 and 8mm tapes and also had firewire for computer software video editing (Pinnacle SOftware).

Thanks for your help.
