Quality Question

Hi,

Wonder if anyone can tell me the relative quilaty of the picture on a Sony DCR-TRV 725e Digital 8 camcorder? In relation to an "ordinary" DV format camcorder and also relative to a pro DV cam.

Just curious to know how good the picture quality is.

no white ballance control, reasonable sharp and good colour for a single ccd cam up until about 10x then fringing becomes a big problem, expecially if there are any light sources in the shot.
It's better than most current cams (having a 1/4in ccd) but not pro. Not enough manual control
I intercut footage from a trv 120 (the same cam optically) with DVC PRo in a film for the BBC, nobody noticed.
