I will be in Beijing in a weeks time. I want to buy all my software and photo editing needs there. I gather you can get software a little bit cheaper there.
If possible could any of you tell me what's the best software i need for
editing video , dvd burning , photo editing . etc.
Money's not an issue of course.

Video editing: Sony Vegus+DVD or Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5

Photo Editing: Adobe Photoshop CS

At UK prices you are looking at spending well over £1,000 for the video & photo editing software if you go for my suggestions above.
