Does any one know this camcorder? ? ? ?

Hi. Does any one know anything or have a JVC GRD 290? I am thinking about pruchasing this camcorder, and I was wandering how good the qaulity will be once I'v uploaded to pc and edited it. I wish to put on dvd, I just want some real good qaulity. I am confused about this cameras nighmode. Can it film in the dark?
