standards conversion

Hiya

Dont know whether this is the right forum but Im after a VHS deck that also performs standards conversion.

Anyone??????

Do you mean a deck which actually converts PAL to NTSC and vice-versa and then saves it - never heard of one of those - or do you simply want a PAL deck which will play NTSC and show it on your telly - lots of them about.

You'll be needing the Samsung SV-5000W VCR. It can be a bit pricey, but if you want a good multi-standard system, then this is it. I got one as soon as I arrived in Canada so I could play my PAL vids. An excellent player and recorder.
