Samsung VP-D101 - Help me please!

I have just bought the above camcorder. I have Windows XP. What do I need to buy to transfer images to pc...is it just a simple cable? Do I need to install any software?

Provided your PC has DV(IEEE1394) Input port, you only need firewire cable to connect to XP Moviemaker (very basic though), usually, PC has 6 pin DV port and Camera has 4 pin DV port, all depends on your setup.

If your PC does not have DV port, then require PCI card for IEE1394, very cheap these days and easy to install and many here happy to help if you have problems.
