Pinnacle Studio 9 Plus will not install

Hey guys

I want to test Pinnacle studio plus. I have downloaded the trial from their website, but when i double clicked the .exe to install it, it just will not run. I can see two .exe in task manager but nothing happens

Any idea ?

Having the same problem & it seems it a service pack 2 problem (use pack 1)

Or it could be one of the many types of problems you can experience when using Pinnacle . . . .

I don't think it's wise to go back to service pack 1 of XP just to try out a program.

A far better alternative is to try other packages such as ULead Video Studio or Sony Vegas Movie Studio, both of which have demos available for them on their web sites and both of which seem far more relaible than Pinnacle.
