A Question About Nightshot Camcorders

Hi all,

I have recently bought a Pan GS400 for use in the day and was looking for a night camera. I am looking for the best nightshot camera. I want the infared green rather than the colour ones Sony are doing now.

After spending alot on a GS400 I need something fairly well priced but great at nightshot. I heard the TRV36E is supposed to be brilliant. I know it's a few years old now but all I need it for is the nightshot quality.

And what's the difference between Nightshot, Super Nightshot, Nightshot Plus etc...

Any ideas folks!!

Ok wacky idea, couldn't you use a gen2 night vision scope with a lens mount adapter?
