what to buy what to buy

Hey guys...i'm in the market to buy a nice digital camcorder this summer but im really not sure what to get

..im using adobe premiere pro and im really gettin the hang of it but the thing is..i dont have my own camcorder..ive been converting it with my old piece of deuce one thats not even digital so the video source is really bad. Im lookin to spend under $400 bucks if possible for the best quality i can get for it, dont really care about size, i just want a good source of video that i can edit, that almost looks as good as "real" film. Yea i know to get that it will run me $5k. Any suggestions, just tryin to get some feedback
