I would say the chances are that the poor quality at full screen is far more likely caused by the graphics card in your laptop. Full screen, full motion graphics requires a lot of memory and processing power to do well, and the chances are that a laptop will not have a top specs graphics card. I would therefore think you are likely to be stuck with a poor quality image or a small window.
