Canon MV500 - still need help!

Hello clever people - I have no instruction manual for this camcorder - can anyone help with a photocopy (I'll pay postage etc) I took it to my sons football match on Sunday - got it home and nothing! Battery charged before I went out. Am I doing something wrong? I need that manual!!!!!

Hi BJC - already done that - no manuals (just brochures) and no reply from technical assistance.
