Thank you Beejacee for your advice will check this out unfortuneatly when you log on to ulead and try to download the free trial it logs me out ,i will ring uk office to correct the problem .

Could just be a temporary problem - seems to be working for me at the moment, you could also try downloading from the American site at :-
http://www.ulead.com/vs/runme.htm

Just tried the download for VideoStudio8 trial version, no probem.
