ADS Pyro Av Link or Canopus ADVC 100

I am wanting to buy an analogue to digital converter - can anyone advise re the above. I have also thought about the Canopus PCI version. My current capture card is useless at video/audio sync. so it is important that I get a card that does this right.

I have never used or seen anybody on here mention that they have used the ADS converter. The exact oposite is true of the Canopus converter, I and a few others on here have used one of them. So I can only really recommend the Canopus ADVC units, but I have never used the PCI version but would assume that it will be as good as the external boxes.
