I see from your other post you are using Vegas. To save me sending you a fairly large file, I checked the website I told you about ( www.vasst.com ) & you can get a .veg file for a countdown intro there.

Any video editing software - do you have Microsoft MovieMaker on your PC - that will do it. One of the ones I sent you I made using Ulead VideoStudio 8 -did they work for you ?? - what editing programme do you have ??

They all worked cool thanks!!!! Which one was yours????

Been using an old copy of version 7. Do you just create slides with transitions or is there something more complex at foot????

Thanks

Mine was the one with just numbers and a background which changed from orange to red as the numbers counted down.

Do you mean Ulead VideoStudio Version 7 if yes then to create your own countdowns simply create a series of 'Titles' with numbers or whatever on them and put them in the title track and set the duration of each one for one second. Then put whatever sort of background you want in the top two video tracks - can be still images - can be videos - can be colour blocks - can have transitions and fades etc. your choice.

Then go to 'Share' and choose "Create Video File" and select "Custom" to choose to make an .avi file. Save this file and there you are - ready for future use.

Adobe Premiere has a built in professional countdown option similar to the one used in film production.

They are only countdown timers and don't normally have sound although one of the ones I sent you called "open-count" should beep as the numbers change. You can add any sound effects you like to them in Vegas when you use them. I'll send you a couple more - but no sound ones I'm afraid.

Not sure who you want to PM you aRCaM, if you want the countdown videos you need to PM vanhosen and myself with your e-mail address, or do you have some count downs and want Stace, Gromit an Toong to send you their e-mail address so you can send the countdowns to them
