I use Vegas Movie Studio 4 at the moment which I'm very happy editing with at the moment but get a little cheesed off when I see the rendering speeds that seem to take ages to get the finished article.

Now I know some editing software like Premier and Edius support accelerator cards which speed up the render process. I dont think Vegas Studio 4 supports such cards but I was wondering if Vegas 5 did? I've looked on the Vegas website but it doesn't mention anything about it. Does anyone know if one excists?

Just uses CPU & RAM for rendering no cards.

If you've more than one PC, Vegas 5 will allow you to perform distributed network rendering, which splits the file into segments that each computer then renders, so speeding up the overall process.
