Which Cable!

I've got a Panasonic NV-DS25 and want to put mini-DV tape onto VHS. The only outputs on the Camcorder are :

- S-Video, no use as my VHS machine doesn't have an S-Video in
- AV Out/Phones which is a smallish din plug.

The AV Out seems to be the way to go, but I've no idea what sort of cable I need to connect it to my video, seems like I need some sort of "din to scart" cable.

I've no problem buying the right cable, butI have no idea where to start looking !

Help !

Go to a specialist hifi shop or else go here. http://www.cableuniverse.co.uk/catal...roducts_id=832.

Not a recommendation that the cable is correct you may want to phone them. I have used them for other cables before and they are quick at delivering.

Hi,

Are you sure you Camcorder does not have a DV out connection? I am sure it does so you should go down the Firewire, IEEE 1394 cable and socket route to get the best quality. Do a search on this forum on firewire for more information.

Hope this helps
