Q - Installing two different versions of Pinnacle

Hi all

Hope this isn't a dumb question, but here goes.
Iv'e recently purchased Pinnacle Studio 14 HD which I have installed and registered.I am thinking of upgrading and have the opprtunity of purchasing Pinnacle Studio 14 HD Ultimate Collection - the question is - will I have to uninstall 14 HD before I install Ultimate Collection - or can I safely Install ultimate with no systems issues whist retaining 14 HD on my lappy ?

Cheers

Terry

Ultimate collection just gives you a few more transititions and effects, thats all. I would not bother unless you need a specific effect. The program itself is identical I believe. (I only have ultimate, but am sure the lower level was the same basic package)

The later Avid branded product is much better, giving you unlimited recording tracks - a major short coming in Pinnacle.

Not used pinnacle for a long long time but like many packages I have used it may use the same directories and folders and so replace the existing program. I know it's a different program but I just bought Nero11 Platinum HD and during the install it said my serial number was illegal. After much searching around it turned out that the new Nero was looking at an older installation of Nero I had tried and used the keys to try authenticate 11. Much cleaning up of the registry fixed it but was a pain.
You may be able to install the Ultimate "over the top" of HD without issue but I doubt both could reside side by side as seperate ptograms.
