Which Editing Software?.......

Which editing software would you all recommend for editing and adding basic effects etc. like Movie Maker v2 does.

For reasons I can't be bothered to go over, my Movie Maker will not save files so I need new software.
Annoyingly, Movie Maker was actually a good piece of Microsoft software.

I would spend up to £100, perhaps more if the product is good enough.

It must be able to do lots of different video sizes etc when saving, capable of 16:9 as well.

Any help greatly appreciated as to which software to look closely at and any pro's & cons etc. as well.

Thanks

Editing Software

Have a look at Magix Movies on CD & DVD, I have and use version 2.0, but there is now version 3.0 and also a Pro version.

You can download trial a version from the www.magix.com website.

Good luck, Peter

I recently had a look at a few packages and, of the lower end consumer programs, I prefered Sony Vegas Movie Studio 4. A trial copy can be downloaded from here:-

Thanks guys.

I now have all three, I'll let you know the results as soon as I've had a chance to use them.
