I have a problem with recording or viewing my videos...When I turn my camera on,all it does is 2 fast beeps 8 times and it stops,and on the screen shows some yellow sign in the middle of the screen (it kinda looks like the eject button) and it shows C:31:22 (it's flashing).

Please someone help I really need my cam in a few days...

With a quick Google search for 'sony C:31:22' I found a good reliable fix for the problem - hit the side of the camcorder hard
No seariously this seems to fix the fault in most cases, but if you don't believe me have a read:
