KWorld Xpert DVD Maker USB 2.0 Video Capture Device

Hi,
Yesterday I posted query regarding analog to PC composite video data ( Hi8 ---> laptop) capture. Googled and found this device $50 USB2.

The reviews sound great but im a bit diffeident. Sounds to good to be true.

Any hands on forumite feedback?

Yea I've got one chucked in the back of a cupboard somewhere - they work but I thought the picture quality was B**** awful and would never recomend one - although mine was not that particular make but it looks identical.

Mark has already answered your other thread - why not follow his suggestion ?

With analogue capture you need to spend the $$$ to get anything close to good PQ. I've never used a USB capture device but everybody on here that has reports the quality as being from very to fairly poor. Analogue to DV to PC does seem to be the best, if not cheapest way to go.

Mark.
