Camcorder Virgin needs help with choice

Hi

Am looking to spend around £1,000 +/- £400

So far from looking at mags etc am considering

Sony DCR-PC350
Panasonic NV-GS400

or even
Canon XM2

Can anyone give any adive on these choice or let me know if I have missed an good choice.

Am looking for a verstile camera which produces good quality images in outdoor and indoor conditions. Also not overly complicated to use.

Many thanks.

Hi, you may already have read lots of reviews but PC Pro seem very keen on the Panasonic......www.pcpro.co.uk/reviews/63399/panasonic-nvgs400b.html

I'd be tempted but have spent more than enough on toys already
