Urgent question about Vegas importing

Hi all,

Appreciate any help on this.

If I use Sony Vegas to import my HD clips straight off, is there any loss in quality? I don't like dragging and dropping from the camera as it splits the clips up, whereas Vegas can keep them all in one single clip.

It should have no effect on your clips or the quality of the rendered output as long as you have the project properties set to correspond with your input format.
