Panasonic sdr-s70 charging in USA

My charger states 110 - 240 volts, so if I get the correct adaptor I can us it in the USA. Because the voltage is half that of the UK I assume it will take twice as long to acheive full charge?

Thanks

Mike

It will work fine. It will take the same time to charge as it does in the UK.

Regards

Phil

Switch mode power chargers (and power supplies like you have on a PC) output the same DC voltages irrespective of the AC input voltage and frequency. Typically 90-250V 50/60Hz so will work pretty well anywhere in the world.

Be aware that the charger may - only may - get warmer than usual. If it does overheat it will cut off (they have a safety cut off) so keep an eye the first time. If it does cut off then 15 mins in a freezer will sort it.
