SONY TRV33 for £320!!!

Just ordered a TRV33 for £320 from www.discount2door.com. Price has just reduced from £399 and is based on 60% discount on RRP of £799. Discount increases by a further 10% in approx 5-6 days and maximum discount available is 80% so, in theory, price could reduce to £240 and £160 over next couple of weeks. But this is only if there is any stock remaining!

I thought that £320 was a good price for a camcorder that has received very good feedback on this forum (and is difficult to find) and did not want to miss out on this deal. It is £90 cheaper than lowest current price for HC40.

Good luck to anyone who waits for the further price reduction.

I've also been looking at this camcorder for a while and couldn't resist it!

£322.98 including postage is not at all bad. It looks like it's coming from a company based in Arndale Centre Manchester.

Thanks for the tip-off Kevhu, I'll report back when it arrives.

Sounds OK!

I wonder if anyone can comment on the accessories normally supplied with the TRV-33. In particular do they include one tape and a firewire lead?

You will also need firewire cable

Received an e-mail this morning from their Internet Customer Services team. They have confirmed that my order has been placed and that it will be delivered within 7-10 days.

Just had a similar email but this time estimating 5 days.

This also confirms that they are now accepting new orders again but fails to mention the price increase.
