I know I saw a post on this forum at some point a few months ago about the settings and tweaks someone had done to their PC when they installed a 2nd HDD... and for the life of me (now that I've bought myself a 2nd HDD) I can't find it!!!!!!

Anyone got a better memory than me or can lay their hands on this post where I can't?

I just did a search in the camcorder forum for 'DMA' and here are the first few I got back (there are many more):

Drive C: Not capable of capturing?
Maximising Windows XP Setup
blurred recording
AIW 9800Pro Bad Experiences (Capture)
Newbie Q - DV editing

They all basically say the same things. The reason for the 'DMA' search is because I (all those threads have replies from me ) always recommend checking that DMA is enable for the HDD for faster access etc.
